For Aristotle (384-322 BC) , knowledge was derived from the senses and experience. A disciple of Plato, he founded his own school, the Lyceum. His thirst for knowledge was huge. His reflections concerned logic, ethics, science, rhetoric, metaphysics and politics, which earned him the title of “the prince of philosophers”.
