Having brought his studies to a brilliant completion at the Memphis temple school of life, Sia Nefer is promised a bright future at the heart of the administration of the Two Lands, under the reign of His Majesty Ptolemy I. However, his sensitive nature and insatiable curiosity had not been accounted for which then, at the expense of a distinguished career as the director of the royal granaries, drove him towards the austere path of the Quest for Knowledge. He chose to become a priest at the temple of Ptah, preferring contact with the ambience of Mystery and the study of secret knowledge contained in the papyrus of the House of Books to the acquisition of earthly gains. The young pure priest would gradually progress through the many stages of a long and difficult journey of discovery, his sincere aspiration bringing him into contact with remarkable people, true masters who were to teach him their art. Therefore, step by step, the author invites us to follow Sia Nefer, temple of Memphis priest, along an initiatory and timeless journey, a quest for Egyptian knowledge.
