Having brought his studies to a brilliant completion at the Memphis temple school of life, Sia Nefer is promised a bright future at the heart of the administration of the Two Lands, under the reign of His Majesty Ptolemy I. However, his sensitive nature and insatiable curiosity had not been accounted for which then, at the expense of a distinguished career as the director of the royal granaries, drove him towards the austere path of the Quest for Knowledge.
