Helena Ivanovna Roerich was born at the end of the 19^th century in the former Imperial Russia, and throughout her life she strived to deliver inspirational mystical teaching through many written publications dealing with the evolution of humanity, and also foundations of Buddhism, great Teachers and spiritual guides. In her books she also touches on subjects such as education, art, and the role of women. She was in perfect harmony with her husband, the great artist Nicholas Konstantinovitch Roerich, and was at his side for many of his creations supporting Art, Beauty and Peace.

Marie-Agnès Domin retraces in her book the extraordinary life of this exceptional person, whose message of great lucidity seems eternal. It makes us reflect on the times in which we live today, and gives us the keys to bring Light from out of the darkness.
