Armenian Paper cleanses, deodorises, and gives out a perfumed scent. It is the oldest natural ambient air purifier and deodoriser. It is used by burning small strips of paper soaked in active and fragrant elements, the principal of which is benzoin. Armenian Paper removes all bad smells such as those from tobacco, cooking, animals, etc. Particularly used in times of flu epidemics or humid weather, it is useful throughout the year to cleanse homes, hotel rooms, and enclosed areas. It is also much appreciated for purifying the rooms of sick people, where one is often not keen to open windows. As it does not use aerosol propellant, Armenian Paper does not pose a threat to the ozone layer. The solution in which the sheets are soaked is alcohol-based. To make them burn slowly, they are bathed in a natural saline solution. The blotting paper used to make Armenian Paper is certified by the FSC, an independent international organisation which works towards responsible forest management across the globe.
