Our planet has begun a new geological era, the Anthropocene, and is currently experiencing an unprecedented crisis. We face numerous challenges, in particular: the effects of climate change and unpredictable meteorological conditions, pollution, loss of biodiversity, the melting of the glaciers and forced migrations... Following this alarming realization, Gaia Vince made the decision to travel the world to try to understand how we can react to these dramatic upheavals: for her it was an opportunity for extraordinary encounters: in Asia, in Africa and in America, she found women and men already proposing solutions at a local level.
