DIFFUSION ROSICRUCIENNE undertakes to respect the provisions of law No. 78-17 of 6th January 1978 on computers, files and freedoms.
• Duties
All files are declared to the National Commission for Information Technology and Freedoms (Certification No. 633 076).

Article 1. General
DIFFUSION ROSICRUCIENNE acts as a principal for publisher distribution platforms in the sale of e-books. Publisher representative platforms are responsible for the technical working order and management of the downloading of e-books.
Article 2. Special conditions for the sale of e-books
You are required, firstly, to familiarize yourself with the current Terms and Conditions of Sale and accept them to receive authorization to order e-books on www.drc.fr.
By ticking the box “I accept the general terms and conditions of sale”, you thereby agree to the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale as well as the special conditions.
On the help pages of the website www.drc.fr you can find all the methods to download and read, in addition to the general, technical restrictions associated with downloading digital files.
As these methods and general, technical restrictions are accepted on placement of your order, no claim or refund request can be accepted on the basis of any misunderstanding or refusal of these methods or general, technical restrictions.
Article 3. Ordering, payment and delivery process
In order to take an online order on the Website, DIFFUSION ROSICRUCIENNE, requests that the client creates a client account and provides certain personal information - that being nominative - which is required in order to process the order and for our commercial relations.
This information will be kept in the DIFFUSION ROSICRUCIENNE database for the sole purpose of this management, as well as for security reasons and in order to respect legal and regulatory requirements. The following information is required in particular: title, name, surname, year of birth and email address in order to verify your order.
In certain instances, DIFFUSION ROSICRUCIENNE reserves the right to request further information from the client such as his or her home address and telephone number, and to request written order confirmation with a handwritten signature (by post or fax) before accepting and processing the order.
In any event, the client undertakes to supply accurate and genuine information and to inform the e-Bookshop of any related changes. This information will remain confidential and is to be used solely for the management of Orders on the Website.
The client will retain sole responsibility for any consequences of the use of his or her client account, which remains the case until it is deactivated. Any attempt to change the password or username is prohibited.
After accurately supplying the required information, tick the box marked “I accept the general terms and conditions of sale”. This step represents your acceptance of the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale, including the methods and general, technical restrictions on the purchase of e-book files detailed on the user guide and help pages of the e-book service, and the conditions of use for each product detailed on the specific webpages for each product (particularly the file formats, production conditions and user rights).
You are able to cancel your order at any point prior to payment confirmation.
When placing an order by bank card, you will be directed to a secure page. You will then be required to enter your bank card number, expiry date and security code (the number found on the reverse of the card). On payment, there is an extra security step generated by your bank card encryption. Following transaction completion, you have the option, whether or not to save your bank card number.
Once you have entered and confirmed your bank card No. and the order is authorized, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
On approval of your order on www.drc.fr, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail at the email address detailed in your client account. This email contains a link to a page where purchased digital files can be downloaded. This email represents acknowledgement of receipt of your order. Access to purchased files is only available to you personally and cannot be transferred to any other individual or third party. This access is valid for a period of time dependent on the file format of the ordered e-books, as of registration of the order.
Once you receive the download or online reading links, for the ordered digital files, which are provided by the publisher representative, you are no longer able to cancel your order. Consequently, the total purchase amount will be automatically debited, even if you decide not to download the files in question.
Once the download links have been sent, the digital file orders are considered firm and definitive and cannot be subject to any exchange or refund.
The 14-day withdrawal period provided by article L.121-20-20 of the Consumer Code does not apply, as given that the order was performed via the provision of download links, this represents definitive delivery of a product.
In the instance of any difficulties, and in particular should you fail to receive the download or online reading links at the email address associated with your client account, please contact the client department at DIFFUSION ROSICRUCIENNE by telephone, on 02.32.35.39.78, Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 17:00, or by using the contact form.
Article 4. Price
Prices detailed for e-books include all taxes and distribution costs. All costs related to accessing and using the e-book download site and the e-book service remain your responsibility.
Article 5. Proof
The information collected by the site www.drc.fr constitutes proof of all orders you have placed.
Article 6. Copyright protection
The ordered digital files, their content, as well as all elements of e-books reproduced on the download site as part of this service (in particular text, comments, illustrations and iconographic documents) are protected in France by the Intellectual Property Code and by foreign legislation governing copyright and related rights, trademark rights, drawing and design rights and patent rights.
In light of this, the intellectual works presented and offered for download and reading are for a strictly personal, private and free use. Any reproduction, adaptation or representation in any form or by any means whatsoever, and particularly the resale, exchange, rental or transfer to a third party, is completely prohibited
E-book files are protected by technical protection measures or Digital Rights Management systems, those being protection systems that enable their use and particular copying to be controlled. They aim to offer the client the maximum level of flexibility in the use of downloaded recordings while protecting the rights of the creators, performers and publishers of the works in question. The client undertakes not to bypass or breach the control systems on the use of downloaded digital files or any other measure with the same purpose.
These technical protection measures are governed by LAW No 2006-961 of 1st August 2006 on copyright and related rights in the information society. Any attempts to bypass these Measures are subject to the punishments set out under the same law. More broadly, any use outside the context set out in the present general terms and conditions will be deemed as an act of counterfeiting, which exposes the client to the risk of civil or criminal prosecution, in accordance with governing legislative and regulatory provisions.
Article 7. Responsibility
Neither the digital file distribution platforms, publishers or DIFFUSION ROSICRUCIENNE can be held responsible for limits caused by Internet networks and in particular technical performance and response times for consulting, querying or transferring data. Additionally, it falls to you to take all appropriate measures to protect your own data and software from being potentially infected by a computer “virus”.
In certain countries, governing laws prohibit or restrict free access to certain intellectual works; it is your responsibility to check to what extent the law in the location the order is made prohibits or restricts the ordered digital files in question.
Neither the digital file distribution platforms, publishers or DIFFUSION ROSICRUCIENNE can be held responsible for any potential malfunctions occurring during the download of the ordered digital files which is not of their doing.
Article 8 - Applicable law
The present general terms and conditions of use of the DIFFUSION ROSICRUCIENNE service are subject to French Law and are drafted in French. Should they be translated, only the French version is legally valid. In the absence of an amicable agreement, any dispute resulting from their interpretation and/ or their execution, falls within the jurisdiction of the Courts of Paris.
Article 9 - User consent
The present general terms and conditions are accepted in their entirety by the User, who states and recognizes as to being fully aware of them. The User thereby waives the right to employ any contradictory document and, particularly, his or her own general terms and conditions of sale.
The act of purchasing or the simple fact of using the service in question, represents pure and simple acceptance of the present general terms and conditions.
DIFFUSION ROSICRUCIENNE reserves the right to modify the current general terms and conditions in any way without further formalities other than adding these revisions to the general terms and conditions available online at the website.
